Day 1: Arrive Kochi
Welcome to your tour of ‘ Romantic Kerala’. On arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway station you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later in the evening, proceed to watch KathakaliDance performance. .(on Direct payment Basis). Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: On to Munnar (130 kms / approx. 5 hours drive)
This morning after breakfast, proceed for city tour of Kochi. Visit the Church of St. Francis, Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch Palace, amazing Chinese Fishing Nets. Later drive to Munnar. Arrive Munnar and check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,)
Day 3: In Munnar
Today, enjoy a morning visit to Old Munnar, which includes the charming Old Christ ,the Tea Museum.Post Lunch visit Mattupetty Lake .Return to the hotel after sightseeing. The rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the Tea gardens in the evening on your own.Enjoy Candlelight Dinner and Flower Bed. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,D)
Day 4: On to Thekkady (104 kms / approx 5 hours drive)
Today drive to Thekkady (Periyar) - the land of the spice plantations. On arrival, check into your hotel. Post lunch, proceed to Periyar Wildlife SanctuaryEnjoy Boat Ride (On direct payment basis). Rest of the evening is free to enjoy a walk through the bustling spice market of Kumily village in Thekkady (On Direct Payment Basis). Explore local markets for various spices such as cardamom, pepper, kokum, nut meg, clove, cinnamon, coffee, cassia, tamarind and so on. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B,)
Day 5: On to Alleppey / Kumarakom (153 kms / approx. 5 hours drive)
Today, in the morning after breakfast, proceed to a guided spice plantation tour. Later drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey / Kumarakom and board your houseboatRest of the day at leisure cruising on Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay at the houseboat. (B,L,D)
